The iPhone is rapidly becoming the "one-stop-shop" for all handheld portable entertainment needs. It offers music, mobile phone service, email, bluetooth, camera, and gaming. While not the original purpose of the iPhone, it is beginning to establish itself as a dominant player in the handheld platform video game industry. It offers unique game play features, similar to the Wii, such as an accelerometer that detects a users movement, and a multi-touch screen capable of recognizing pressure points at once. With its innovative App store where independent developers can release their own games for sale while maintaining industry high royalties of 70% Apple has been able to attract both amateur and professional game developers. The iPhone continues to improve each generation and the only major downside is it's expensive price for its bundle of features which all users may not find value in, and its forced service plan with AT&T.

The perpetual access to information that the iPhone offers changes the way you approach life. Also, the user interface is damn near perfection.

I really like my iPhone, and I've had it for more than a year. That's a long time to really like a phone. I remember I was ready to throw my Motorola Razr through a wall after only a month or two.

Too expensive for something that's not necessary.
