The Cult did do a cover, and it sounds pretty ok, I guess.

Attention, Jamie McBain! I think you actually mean The Cult and not The Cure. The Cult had some good stuff but did a below average rendition of this, an unnecessary version of it. I don't think The Cure did this song, though I could be wrong, and it's hard to picture them doing it, it's kind of hard to turn this biker anthem into a "I'm so depressed. Where's my Prozac and fingernail polish? NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME" kind of song. The Cure had their moments.
