I may not laugh out loud, but I laugh, and so do most of you. The bulk of stand-up comedy is rooted in exactly this concept.

I think this is one of the lowest things that one can do to someone else. It shows what a person is really like on the inside that would do something like this.

This is one of those "human" things that people do. I think many like to do this because it makes themselves feel better about their place in life. It certainly isn't a very nice thing to do. Indeed, I believe firmly that what goes around comes around, so I try not to point out other people's misfortunes in a humorous way.

would not laugh at a decent person who had lousy things happen them. however if it were some jerk who was rotten to us, may have a bit of a chuckle. would be glad to see someone get a bit of their own nastiness back in their laps. the kind who had it coming to them.

The only time I laugh is when the person gets whats coming to them.

It just isn't funny unless you know and hate them or its one of those stupid criminal stories where its hard to feel sorry for them.
