this should be an example that not all spin offs work. during the Happy Days seasons Joannie and Chachi eventually became "an item" { mostly because the original actors  the show was centered around had moved on} so here comes "lets give them their own show" after all Happy Days had already successfully spun off Laverne and Shirley, and  Mork and Mindy. this show failed miserably only lasted a half season. just a lesson of quit while your a head. even though Joannie and Chachi were big on Happy Days does not mean success for their own show.
