Paper beating rock never made sense to me. However, far be it from me to question the logic of such a noble pasttime. I can't wait for the RPS documentary to get finished ...

Leave it to children to have the best way to solve a problem.

UPDATE: Special tip for you all, most people use rock for their first move and almost never lead with scissors. Use paper.

My sons do this to settle minor debates, like who gets to ride in the front, who gets the last slice of pizza, etc.

Seems to work for them.
