Not to say that there is never a time to take an issue to court, but this nation is absolutely overrun with lawsuits. The judicial system has become something of a lottery, causing liability costs to skyrocket; yet people wonder why healthcare costs are through the roof and why the costs of doing business in the US continue to soar.

While there are abuses and problems, it's still a way to have your rights verified and recognized. . .everyone here seems to have a lawyer joke but every one of you would call one if the need arose. . .

America is a big one for lawsuits. there are a lot of crybaby trivial lawsuits in the systems at all times they muck up the system so real lawsuits get held up forever. lot of sue happy people out there who will sue over just about anything. wah wah wah, you upset me now i will sue you. crybabies!

Whether you like it or not, it is the contemporary American way of resolving disagreements and arguments. I believe it is a byproduct of our self-indulgent mindsets. The reality is that Americans, pretty much across the board, accept far less responsibility for themselves and their actions than did our fellow countrymen of generations past. It's always gotta be someone else's fault.

Considering it turned a dry cleaning bill into a court fee bill I'd say no.
