I don't know how good a mediator is these days. I mean how long have US Presidents tried for Middle East Peace? It seems that the number one rated way to settle a dispute (rock, paper, scissors) is a better way to go.

sometimes it could help other times no. if a mediator can get the two battling persons to try and listen to each side maybe. from what i have seen when dealing with the "I am always right and refuse to even try and listen to another point of view" kind of person. might as well not waste your time and breath.

Sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the two warring parties are so engrossed in their bloody fight that they tend to tune anyone else out. I believe people should be adult enough to be able to settle their differences, and then agree to disagree.

I would prefer to see everyone act like adults on this site, bringing in a mediator for a consumer review site seems a bit much.

Good idea, if people will let the mediator mediate.

You need two. One to hold one person back, the other to hold the other person back.
