Greatest and most heroic death in Star Wars and probably all of cinema. Freshly defeated by Luke in a lightsaber duel and having his own son refuse to excute him and take his place by the Emperor's side Vader watches his son being electrocuted by his sinister Master as his son begs for help and then a miracle happens... Anakin Skywalker reawakens within the body armor of Darth Vader as he lifts up and hurls the Emperor down a shaft to his doom. Luke is saved but handling the Emperor while in effect he was a live battery of Dark Side energy cost Vader his life although at the end he finally found the peace his son so desperately wanted to show him.

It seemed like a good way to go, but after playing Jedi Outcast I ask myself whether he could just have picked him up with the Force. I suppose he was weary after his battle with Luke...

Died from his takedown of Palpy and redeemed himself. Plus he fufilled the Chosen One Prophecy...
