10/03/2007 | I'll admit it, a lot of the time that I reach for a calculator I could just do it by hand, but the calculator is a lot faster. But there are a lot of calculations, trig functions being a good example, where if you don't have a calculator, you need to look it up in a table. A good graphing calculator may not be a necessity, but it sure makes life a lot easier.
