 | SZinHonshu (44) 07/13/2007 | I think there is a good argument that can be made in support of the assertion that the measurement of time is the lynchpin around which Western Civilization is built. Even if you don't go this far in your opinion, you will be hard pressed to deny that it is an enormously important factor in the lives of most contemporary Americans. Our modern existences all revolve around the use and management of time.
