If we're talking about TV dinners and frozen pizzas, then three stars, the stuff is fairly cheap, and it's convenient, but I could get by without it. Now if we mean the ability to freeze fresh food for longterm storage, then it's five stars. The ability to buy meat from the store one day and be able to pull it out of the freezer two months later is one of the best conveniences in existance today. Or how about the ability to grow vegetables in your own garden, freeze them, and be able to eat them in January? Sure, you could can them, but frozen vegetables are almost as good as getting them right out of the garden. The same can't be said for canned vegetables.
