Fort Mason is a fabulous resource for Bay Area residents. The culture housed there is diverse. I don't hear many talking about it and maybe that's because access is confusing, but it's definitely worth hunting out.

An excellent location in S.F. for performing arts classes, but there is no other attractions there. Parking occassionally can be a chore like the rest of S.F.

I didn't know what to do because there was so much going on. Between the cultural exhibits and artistic performances, there are plenty of green lawns to just "veg" out on. The best place to relax that I've enjoyed. It is not something to do spontaneously, but it should be planned into a day.

I don't like Fort Mason. The buildings are really fun down and old.
