This was significant enough to ruin the Atlanta Falcons' season.

Knew there was something wrong with Vick when Cho listed him as his fave VPI alumni. otherwise, i think these stupid wussy animal rights pussies made too big a deal of this.

They just came out with chew toys for dogs that are Michael Vick holding a football. A little vengeance for man's best friend.

Another chump the NFL needs to smack down like they did "Pacman" Jones.

Vick better go away this year. If he plays the league and the Falcons are going to look rather stupid.

This is a horrible story, but too bizarre to garner lasting attention, I think. Would people also be up in arms if it were cocks, not dogs, being abused? I fear not. I think we may actually see Vick back on the field, much as all of us would want him to go away.

It's sizzling now, but as a story it will fade. . .NFL training camps are around the corner. . .Barry Bonds (cheater) is on the cusp of a major record. . .look, Vick is a pig for this behavior, but I regretfully predict this one will fall into the background as a major sports story after Labor Day. . .

If the allegations are true, Vick will (and should) go to Jail. From ESPN.com: "The government's case includes evidence that Vick and his cohorts "tested" pit bulls for ferocity. If the dogs failed the test, the indictment charges, they were executed by hanging or drowning. In one case, with Vick present, the indictment says a dog was slammed to the ground until it was dead. In another incident, a dog was soaked with a hose and then electrocuted."
