"Only in San Francisco would the build a Ring-Toss for Aliens"-Will Durst
Since it's an office building, it's not much of an attraction. It is attractive though.

It's a building. Unusual shape, but thousands have unusual shapes.

I don't know what there is to DO at the Transamerica building, but it is definitely cool looking. I'm a big fan of having one structure define a city's skyline (the space needle, the twin towers, etc.), and the transamerica building successfully gets that done. I finally had the chance to get up to the top of this building today - I had a meeting on the 43rd floor, which is pretty much the top. The view is ridiculous - I mean, absolutely stunning.... it feels like you're floating above the city of San Francisco, and you're looking right down on the rolling hills of North Beach, the Bay, and Alcatraz. It was actually a little unnerving to be so much higher than everything else. A girl that worked up there told me that on windy days the whole building rocks. I think that would freak me out a little bit. And I don't even want to think about riding out an earthquake up there...

A beautiful and distinctive landmark building, I just want to drive a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda up one side and jump it off the top.

It's one of those things that defines SF, the same way the World Trade Center, etc. define NYC. And a great looking building too!
