Miniature foodie Mikey and the other two jr. con artists trying to ditch cereal they think they won't like - were all cute little devils. The catch phrase - "Give it to Mikey, he'll eat anything." - has long since woven itself into the fabric of American pop culture - but I still haven't been tempted to try the cereal.

Little Mikey is now Big Mikey. And I know there's some that have heard that he died from eating Pop Rocks and soda, but that's an urban legend, according to Wikipedia.I wonder if he's still eating Life?

I used to get compared to this Mikey kid, as I was every mother's dream because I was not a picky eater when it came to food, and ate everything you put in front of me. So as a lil boy, my family used to joke "Mikey, he likes it!" Im 32 now and they still call me Mikey, and I still love food.

Who, growing up in the '70s and '80s, can forget the famous tot who "hates everything" -- that is, everything but Life Cereal? Starting in the early 1970s, it ran off-and-on through the majority of the '80s. I liked how his older brothers (all three freckle-faced boys could never deny that they were related!) fought over who was going to be the first among them to taste the cereal that's "supposed to be good for you". Finally deciding on their baby brother, they push the bowl of cereal to him. Doubtful that he'll like it, the older boys watch Mikey slowly take his first bite. The rest is TV commercial history: "He likes it! Hey, Mikey!"A timeless classic.

This should have been a "one of" commercial. It lost strength as an ongoing theme.
