We are all attention seeking, approval loving creatures - at least to some degree or another I suppose. But when you consider that even when people do profess to like you and think you are the most wonderful thing ever to grace the Web, then you have to keep in mind; if it's not your mom or best friend this person just does not have the whole picture. If he/she met you, the opinion might change dramatically. Same goes for the negative version of the story. Nothing calls for the Take it with a Grain of Salt approach quite like the annonymous nature of the Internet. That is, unless you enjoy living in a fantasy world.
