The whole series is very well done. Who cares if they are true to the books by Ludlum they are great action-adventure films and I was surprised how good Damon is in them.

Intense and fast paced thriller. The story is a little confusing until the end of the movie.

Nothing like the book, but probably the best movie of summer 2007 and, per Louie's comment: easily the best of the Bourne movie series.

Garbage! Wasn't a Ludlum story so they can continue this series forever. As a matter of fact none of the movies was true to the series. And Matt Damon as a killer made as much sense as Jake Gyllenhaal as a marine. Maybe they'll star in a story of two disillusioned CIA agents who fall madly in love and save the universe from heterosexual marriage.

Next up: Holcroft Covenant starring Mel Gibson, I hope...

Easily ther best of the 3 in my opinion. Plenty of action to go around.

Pure action movie, unadulterated by any but the sketchiest of plots. Excellent job. A heart-pounding adrenaline surge from beginning to end. Just when your pulse rate gets a chance to recover to high normal, off it goes again. No nuanced performances here–all the characters, even David Strathairn's (one of my favorite actors), are pretty much one-dimensional. But it's dead serious about being a explosively high energy action flick. No cute stuff, no unbelievable tricks (unless you count the number of times Jason Bourne should have died or been rendered a vegetable but didn't and wasn't). This is one heck of a roller coaster ride.

I had the distinct feeling that I had seen the film before. And it wasn't just that they had done the story twice already, best in the first installment when Bourne was confused as to who he was and how he knew so much about killing people. It was because the very afternoon before I went to the theatre, I happened to watch Will Smith, Gene Hackman and JonVoigt in Enemy of the State, a very solid paranoid big-brother thriller from 8 years earlier that almost to the letter had the same story line as well as a very well thought out discussion about the impact of the eyes-on-everyone technology that is just presented matter of factly in the Bourne film.

If they are going to continue the franchise, I think its time to find a new Bourne, maybe someone who looks like Roger Moore.

I've enjoyed all three of these movies immensely. Kick-ass action, good acting, and clever plots have been the staple of the Bourne movies, and Bourne Ultimatum does a good job of maintaining the high standards of the previous two films.

In this one, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) sets out to bring down the folks who turned him into a killer in a voyage that takes him through Tangiers, Madrid, London, Paris, and finally, NYC. The rooftop chase scene is Tangiers is fantastic, as are ALL of the hand to hand combat scenes.

It's too bad that there's no more books to work from in this trilogy - the Jason Bourne character has a bit of a Bond like appeal to him.
