When God is important to you, you do not ignore him until someone else may think it is appropriate. I think it's not wise to avoid God for any reason. Matters of reason? Well, science has yet been able to disprove the existence of God and since God created all things including the scientists I'll stick with him.

I say it is dumb not because I am criticizing those who give their faith the highest priority. But I think it is really dumb because one of this nation's core principles is the separation of church and state. So when those who mix faith and reason also start referencing the "Founding Fathers," said founding fathers are probably in their graves, muttering, "That's not what I meant at all!"
