I bought the Chapa from a Foot Solutions store in Temecula, CA. They didn't have my size which would be 9 since one foot is always larger than the other usually. The "expert" said the 8.5 would work and they could stretch the other shoe to fit. I got them because a bruised heel pad that was painful. They seemed to do the trick of relieving the pain just walking around the store, which is required by the store so you get used them before walking outside. The one and only time I wore them, was at work and I walked around a city block. The stretched shoe foot(size 9 foot)went completely numb within the first few minutes of walking and I got a blister on the heel. The shoes have been sitting on a chair in their box ever since. I tried contacting the mfr. and after 2 wks I was told I would be given an RMA if I answered the normal questions of size, name,address, store purchased, etc. I answered within a few hrs of receipt of the email and the email bounced back. I recontacted the company and got no response with another email bounce. Don't know if the ID factory/distributor in USA is going out of business. The Foot Solutions store sold a discontinued model at full price (I later found on the internet these were discontinued and discounted by almost $100(!!)at an online stores when I searched for the style) and Foot Solutions knowingly sold a size smaller than what I should have had. I did question them at the time about this and trusted their judgment for this new fangled shoe. They were just out to sell a product and empty their inventory of old styles of stock! Definitely a very bad experience never to purchase them again! I would never recommend these shoes because you can't talk to anyone in the know about them or get any customer service.
