I try to ignore them all, but the local one that read: Vote for Uncle Ernie was good for a laugh (at poor Ernie's expense).

Note to the befuddled: Listen to Tommy by THE WHO for a clue.

I could do without them. But I wish they made one that said "Vote for someone literate!"

I wonder if I should take down my re-elect Reagan sign?

Ugly? Sure but, they come, they go...just like the morons they hawk. They're usually not around long enough to bother me much. I tend to block them out like annoying TV commercials.

The fact that they're still around AFTER the voting just ticks me off.

I'm not as politically-minded as some, but whoever wants to do this should be free to make their statement.

It all goes back to the first amendment: "Free speech".

Yeah, they really only tell me who NOT to vote for.

Did anybody ever vote for a candidate because they saw a lot of that candidate's signs?

This is a terrible eye sore. It's almost as bad as being subjected to the many commercials on TV during each election (OK it's worse, you can turn the TV off).
