Back when AMC was showing better classic movies, I got a chance to catch this one on tape. Well into the "talkie" era (1936), this was Charlie Chaplin's final silent (but not totally) film. But also very unique in that it was way ahead of its time in many ways, like the factory machinery and the big screen where Chaplin's boss ordered the ever-loafing Charlie to "Get back to work!" It kind of reminds me of the ideas that was used in "The Jetsons" twenty-six years after this movie was made. Definitely a film to check out if you haven't already done so.
