The early versions were well built but suffered from having to use a General Motors 2.8L v6 as the optional motor. I have 215,000 miles on a 1989 Comanche built by Chrysler. A bit crude by today's standards it is very reliable and economical. Just don't try to carry really heavy loads, it is not up to it.
