This is a pastis or absinthe without the wormwood and therefore legal in those places that ban absinthe. This is an anise flavored, golden herbal liqueur that is usally served with water added that makes it cloud up.

try this before with cold water on a hot summer day. absinthe without the wormwood.

Some similarities to ouzo, including its characteristic of turning milky if ice is added to it.

An aquired taste, but rather good, and another on this list that can blackjack you pretty hard.
