I've normally had these as a dinner dish, but I've had them a few times for breakfast. They wouldn't be my first choice, but they aren't bad, especially with crumbled bacon and sour cream

I have tried meat Pierogi in Cracow (Poland), where it's a traditional dish used as appetizers. They are like dumplings made with gnochi dough. I love them.

Huh? I read the description. This is clearly a regional food (sounds Polish or Czech and similar to a kolachie). I know no one down here that eats this stuff, and I have never met ANYONE mention it by name? It sound ok tho.

A meat and cheese Piroshki is my breakfast of choice on cold, foggy SF mornings. It's hearty, and helps me start of the day feeling strong. Muddy Waters on 16th and Valencia serves theses.
