I really like the Marlboro Virginia Blend they have a nice flavor and are not harsh in the least like other Marlboro's. I have tried the 27's and they are ok, but these seem to be better in my opinion. The have a nice cramy characteristic about them with flavors similar to sweet corn or caramel. Most of my co-workers who smoke Marlboro's don't like them; they say they are too smooth and sweet tasting, but they are perfect for me! I have to agree with elevated train the person who wrote the review about these appearing to be safe for you?! Yeah...that's a Jackass!! Any one who looks at any color and asumes "Hmm, this color means these are safer and not addictive." needs to get a life, look at themselves in the mirror and face the real PROBLEM!! First of all, as was already stated, the warning is on the carton and on each and every package; it's federal law! Second if you actually go to the Phillip Morris website and actually READ you will see the ingredients of all the cigarette... Read more

Right up there with the menthols and 27's, but not as good as the 54's. More flavor than the reds. Sadly it has the aftertaste of the reds.

Marlboro Virginia Blend cigarettes are the best smokes I have ever tried. For the ones I have tried before amongst Marlboro, Camel, Newport, Parliament, Pall Mall, Lucky Strike, Bensen & Hedges, and Kools... all of the sub flavors these companies produce/sell..... including all other Marlboro varities aside from the Virginia Blend, just aren't as good. There's no bite at all after each inhale of the Marlboro Virginia Blend cigarette. Every other cigarette I have mentioned above, has a type of harshness or not so enjoyable flavor/element to them. The Marlboro Virginia Blend cigarette is simply a great smoke. -As to the only "lengthy" comment that is posted about mid-page on this blog, they seem to have vision problems. For some reason this blogger said that the "Marlboro Virginia Blend" cartons & packs are misleading to a consumer because they appear to be packaged as this "new" type of cigarette that is "better for you". They also said that the lack of a warning on both the carton and... Read more

I've smoked Dunhill, Nat Sherman (classic, light, MCDs, etc.,), Export A (not bad), Davidoff (worst), Du Maurier (nauseating), and so on. After trying Virginia Blends, I have to say that premium brands MAY (you'll have to figure out for yourself) not be worth the ticket price. Virginia Blends are excellent; this was a huge surprise to me as Marlboro's other products are not to my liking, I don't know what it is about Virginia Blends, but these things are just as good as the premium brands that I like. I wouldn't smoke Marlboros other cigs, but the blends are very, very good.

I started smokeing again after going 20 years without a smoke and tried the Marlboro virgina blend. After 6 months its the same old song. Virgina blend or not, they are still addictive I find myself addicited to them already and bad for my health . So why shold one smoke? They are addicitive like a drug, and they cost too much. There are no absolutely no health benefits to smokeing. Now that I find myself a addicted smoker again and my interest in excerciseing or being fit doesnt seem to be important since I started smoking. I just dont seem to have the strength and vigor to exercise. Perhaps its the Nicotine, Tar and all the other chemicals that are in the cigaretts. and they are not good for ones health. The problem I have with the Marlboro Virgina Blend is the carton and packs look good and safe as if its a new safe cigarette to smoke they dont have a warning on all there cartons and packs and they dont list all the chemicals in the smokes you inhale. So it comes right back to smokeing ... Someone got my these instead of what i wanted.  Had two packs and enjoyed them.  As Marlboros only pure leaf smoke they rock.  Sweet taste, literally.  Only downside is that they contain a bit too much nicotine and aren't good for smoking one after another.

I think maybe Marlboro is trying to win over Camel  smokers by making cigarettes that actually taste like Tobacco and not rusted metal! No offense to the Marlboro smokers intended. These are good though. A little airy with a solid flavor. Nothing spectacular, but good.

I like these cigarettes but they are too mellow for my tastes and there's too much filter resistance. However they may taste mellow but they have a very high nicotine rating and if you smoke too many they have a tendancy to make you sick.

Best cigarette ever. I got one of  these from my friends and they are amazing. I liked reds but these are better. They look nicer as well with the area by the filter being slightly yellow instead of orange and then the silver line and the bright white paper. At first I didn't even want to smoke them they looked so nice.

These are by far the best cigarette I've ever had. I grew up smoking first Liggit Menthal Light 100's, then smoked Newports for a while until Marlboro Smooth's came out, and then in July I started smoking Marb Reds. Since then, about half the cigarettes I've smoked were reds, and the other half split up between Camel Wides and Marlboro 27s, and the occasional Kamel Reds. I bought these because of how cool the packed look, how different it was from every other marb pack, and I'm glad i did. The draw on these is kind of hard, but thats good because it means a slower burning cig. Its a bit harsh going in, but the exhale has a great tangy aftertaste. The only cigarette I can think of that reminds me of these is a mix of Bugler Roll Your Own Tobacco, Camel Wides, and Camel Infuseds with a touch of Marlboro Reds and 27s. Buy these, you'll be glad you did

Marlboro Virginia Blends are basically Marlboro Lights, except they only contain burley tobacco, which is a bright yellow form of tobacco. These cigarettes taste very mellow, since there is no brown tobacco in the blend. The pack is also very stylish; its all silver with a blue tobacco sticker printed on the top, to give it a hip look. However, these cigarettes sell for about 70 cents more than other Marlboros, which may turn off lots of potential buyers. However, Camel also has a similar burley tobacco cigarette out, called Camel Mellow, which basically has the same taste and strength as the Virginia Blends.
