What is sad about this film is all of the huge acting talent that was wasted.

A wretched, pretentious and egregiously stupid movie.

ma+duron's review summarizes it neatly, and I won't attempt to review the plot.

Partly out of respect for his work, but mostly because the thought of this atrocious nonsense has sickened me enough without reliving it further.

Those of you whose memories had mercifully denied them recollection of this travesty may never forgive me. Regrets, but I cannot carry this burden alone.

Chevy Chase drives ex-lover Demi Moore from NY to a business meeting in New Jersey. Passing through a small town, they fall victims to a speed trap. Arrested, they are taken before a sadistic judge (Aykroyd in hideous guise). Bizarre would be kind. A comedy? Social Satire? Read what someone posted: "…schlocky, poorly acted, horribly scripted, under-budgeted, lamely produced film striving for transcendent comedy…?" He was being kind.

There is a brief appearance by 2 Pac Shakur.
