A bright, narcissistic guy of no appreciable talent but very good at promoting himself and staying in the public eye over the years. I was never a fan of "The Partridge Family" or anything else Bonaduce was a part of, but I did find myself watching the "Breaking Bonaduce" show in a sort of sick fascination, and was even induced into reading his autobiography (bought cheap on Amazon). Give the guy his due; he's far from stupid and I did find myself laughing out loud on occasion while reading it. Unfortunately, for Bonaduce and his wife (in some ways, she's a bigger schmuck than her husband, quite frankly) to allow their 2 young kids to appear in that trainwreck of a show about his trainwreck of a life and marriage was a reprehensible disgrace and borders on child-abuse in my opinion. It's discouraging in the extreme to recognize that a no-talent self-destructive exhibitionist like Bonaduce still seems to be raking in the cash while people of genuine artistic merit are scrounging. Hopefully, the "class-act" that gave Bonaduce's show the green-light will have the cameras ready to roll when his daughter has a total nervous breakdown after Dad finally succeeds in jumping off a building, his belly full of booze and Vicodin. You really do wonder how these people sleep at night.

This was like watching a trainwreck. He would sell his soul to make it big again. Too much information on a lot of things about this fella. Like the way he treated his wife. Or should I say mistreated?

Bonaduce consistently came across as the biggest dick on TV, week after week -- no small accomplishment. He abused steroids, his wife, his children, his radio listeners, his TV viewers, and above all himself. A long prolonged meltdown from start to finish.
