Pretty. Nice, clean easy to understand interface. I like the import friends features. That is best in industry. However, I used it for 2 days only because I became completely disinterested in it. There is nothing of substance holding me to it. No value.

I, bought a yearly subscription for Plaxo-a social network. It boasts of maintaining a online diary with access. After 3-4 months, I started getting spam messages and uncalled for contacts. Also 1 month has passed and the service has been totally lost. This is the message i get for the past one month. ""A fatal error has occurred. Please wait a moment and try again. Contact support@plaxo.com if you continue to see this error."" I contacted their customer care. They kept on dilly-dallying the matter and asked me to remove a few groups. But how can i remove the groups when i am not able to log in at the very first place? So its back to the bottom of circle this month. I have a month more of subscription left. I am not interested in paid features of subscription. So i should be refunded proportionate amount. I am far better enjoying facebook and linkedin etc. Plaxo has sucked a big cut in my pocket and i only get a lot of spam in there. They have a limit of 1000 contacts. If you want to contact some person of your interest, you cant because he has the limit full. He sends you to the above two. Also the firefox window hangs more often in Plaxo than any other program. Plaxo calender is the most useless thing i have ever seen in my life. It hangs for a minute or two on opening and even while entering anything. Google calender is much better. I dont understand what is the purpose of taking a paid subscription-just to see the duplicate addresses and remove them? They cant even spell my name correctly.

Anybody who uses Facebook knows that the best part about the site is the news feed. It keeps you up to date with what your friends are doing on FB in terms of posting photos, changing statuses, etc. Plaxo is trying to do the news feed one better. Instead of limiting activity to what happens within a certain social network, they are opening up their feed to activity web wide. All you have to do is to hook up your various feeds from around the web - RIA reviews, blog posts, flickr photos - and Plaxo will make sure all of your friends are kept up to date. It's incredibly ambitious, and I believe, a glimpse into what the next generation of social networks will offer. I don't know if Plaxo is going to win this space (they lack the social graph relationships), but they are certainly pioneers.

Yeah, Plaxo Pulse is very useful. While I work for Plaxo, and am therefore somewhat biased, I can honestly say that as a normal user I find it's really helpful for keeping in touch with the online activity of my friends.
