It would be hard to argue that anyone is better that Bud Wilkinson. He lead Oklahoma to 13 straight Conference Championship (14 total), 3 National Championships (2 back to back), and lead the Sooners thru a 47 game winning streak from 1953 to 1957, a record that stands to this day. From his start in 1947 he never lost a conference game until Halloween 1959 against Nebraska.

He is also one of four Oklahoma coaches to win 100 games for one school. The other three are Bennie Owen, Barry Switzer and current coach Bob Stoops. No other school has accomplished this

great coach....started it all for the Univeristy of Oklahoma.
