 | oscargamblesfro (76) 10/18/2007 | A rather annoying song from their album "Bark," a well below average record from 1971- in my view, this band did little of note after about 1970, and underwent a metamorphosis into a ghastly corporate rock entity called Jefferson Starship, who were very successful but managed to put out stuff so bad that if you could put their ratio of good tunes to bad tunes into a fraction it would look like about 1/ 87...In this song, Grace Slick bombastically tries to get tough with a cop or something, she's kind of acting like the tough 19th century frontier pioneer chick that she certainly wasn't- though the band had some great tunes in their heyday, there was always a nagging element of sanctimoniousness and pretentiousness to them,i.e. once they made it big, they got a little preachy. Forgettable track.
