10/24/2007 | Paul Kantner wrote this post- apocalptic tune with Stephen Stills and David Crosby, and both the Airplane and CSN put out versions in 1969. The Airplane's take on this came out on "Volunteers." The renditions are about equal in terms of quality. There is some nice harmony singing on the tune, but it's a bit bombastic and ham fisted, lyrically speaking. Still, it has a nice flow and is pretty catchy.
