I've never understood the hype over Chicago style hotdogs. They're just a hotdog. A lot of great toppings, yes, but still just a hotdog. Plus I tend to prefer my hotdogs to be a mix of pork and beef. I spend a fair amount of time in the Chicago area, and if I end up at a hotdog place with  a group of people ( I never go to one of these place on my own), I typically go with a much more flavorful Italian sausage instead.
