 | Kley (0) 08/13/2003 | As a tourist from the East, I was enchanted by the Plaza's ambience -- not just the shops and restaurants, but the art and architecture which is really Spanish (not fake Spanish-Mission) - and the setting beside a lovely stream is charming. The only downside is that K.C. has a pathetic public transportation system (a few mystery busses meander about the city from time to time), so one must drive to the Plaza. However, parking is plentiful and free. The many high-rise apartment buildings (and hotels) surrounding the Plaza area appear to be very upscale. Lots of wealth here!

 | Shnikees (0) 04/21/2003 | A beautiful touch of Spanish architecture in the middle of nowhere. Great stores (ie Victoria's and Sharper Image) and amazing cleanliness. I visited from NY with my friend from outside KC, and surprise surprise, they're anti-Jaywalking. Less I need to mention, FREE PARKING!!!

 | Phila (0) 04/20/2003 | The Plaza in K.C. holds its own with Fifth Avenue and Michigan Avenue -- but Kansas Citians don't know it yet, which makes it so nice!

 | afterglow70 (0) 02/26/2002 | I have to agree w/ "out to the ball game" on one thing. No light rail and there a lot of places to eat and a lot of places to spend cash. Home prices are slightly less then that of Northern California.

 | out to the ball game (0) 01/26/2001 | The one good thing about KC, if your happy with only getting fat and spending money. Watch out, people in KC think it's globaly spectaculer. There is nothing in nearby downtown, and there is no light-rail transportation to and from the area.
