Forgive me for being skeptical about the likelyhood that I'm saving the world.

Brilliant idea. This is possibly the most productive thing to come out of facebook. Basically, you just absentmindedly click a button to rack up aid for the developing world and people in need. I don't understand why this isn't utilized more. If you're on the phone or on hold this at least makes good use of your time. Come on, there's no reason NOT to do it.
