We will see how good of a manager he continues to be now that he is not managing the Yanks. So far he is off to a great start.

I think he's pretty solid, primarily based on his performance with the Braves, where he had little to work with, although he deserves credit for keeping the Yankees' idiotic clubhouse together. He is not, however, in the ranks of holy trinity of McGraw, McCarthy and Stengel, nor even in the Weaver and Martin class.

He'll probably never match his success with the Yankees, but it was a good move by the Dodgers to hire him.

Did nothing as Mets manager, won 3 World Series as Yankees manager... he can rot with the rest of 'em.

i was shocked when the yanks didn't extend his contract. I guess in a market that size, someone has to be the scapegoat for a couple lackluster playoff showings. But I like the Torre - Bowa combination in LA. Dodgers could surprise some people this year.

decent manager and has a lot of personality.

Of course, it made perfect sense for him to move from one Evil Empire (Yankees) to the new one in the making (Dodgers).
