11/10/2007 | Perhaps no philosophy or concept takes a moronic beating like this one from mostly trailer-park types without much travel experience or education. . .yes, socialism isn't perfect but it is hardly the reason why we better take care that people don't screw up the world. . .

11/09/2007 | Now here's a well-intentioned system that gets a bad rap.
True, it's never been successful on a large scale, but then, it's
always deteriorated into communism or fascism. Socialism in its
pure form is a doctrine of generosity, compassion, and tolerance, even
if, in practice, most people are too self-serving to make it
viable. Not exactly a warmongering philosophy.
