 | CleverElsie (12) 11/15/2007 | Fuji cameras are truly the undiscovered gems of the digital
world. They're not without problems, notably purple fringing in
the consumer models and at least one case of very bad "softness" in a
dSLR, but let's not look this gift horse in the mouth. Fuji
cameras have huge sensors, which contribute to enormous
dynamic range, more than competent low-light shooting and, in most
cases, excellent detail that even gives the gold standard Canon a run
for its money. Like many consumer digicams, the small ones can
overexpose at times, but they largely take beautiful, natural
shots--and they're pretty darned fast, too. Canon had better keep
an eye over its shoulder because once Fuji irons out a few details,
this could be the new camera to beat.
