These types of bands often used classical and/ or Renaissance musical instruments and arrangements and were also often heavily influenced by Sgt. Pepper's and things like Procul Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale," sometimes mixing that with flower power, pop, and other strands of music popular at the time. This act, from the songs I have heard, wasn't particularly good, and although I personally think you should usually judge a band in the context of its time, I have to say they haven't aged well. The band's lone album barely dented the charts, and if you can imagine The Mamas and the Papas occasionally playing music from the mid 1400's you'd be in the ballpark. They are chiefly notable for being the first act that Debbie Harry, who became a superstar with Blondie almost a decade later, was in.
