11/18/2007 | I've only ever seen this employed once, and from that experience I have to say it seems pretty ineffective. Even for what seemed to be a fairly short message, it took so long for the plane to do it that by the time it was halfway through the first parts of it were disintegrating to illegible fluff. Also, at the angle I was looking at it, I couldn't make out what was trying to be said, anyway.
