Much better than Smallville, or even the new Superman movie, this is what Superman should be like, not that GEn X crap.

Lois & Clark focused on the Clark Kent-Lois Lane romance and the attendant comedy of Clark's efforts to keep up his disguise. It was noted for toning down Clark's awkward, bumbling traits while playing up Lois's competence and feisty feminism as well as for relying on a wide range of villains beyond just Lex Luthor. It also gave a number of characters at the Daily Planet a chance to shine, including Perry White and Jimmy Olsen. Lois & Clark was the only Superman show to devote so much time to the romance between its title characters, and the series suffered when it changed its focus to more action-oriented plots. The romantic tension fizzled after Lois and Clark married, and the show ended soon after that.
