 | minkey (36) 12/02/2007 | Thanksgiving totally gets the shaft. People can wait until after November to buy their holiday items...who has a tree and stockings up on Thanksgiving Day?

 | lucy2 (7) 11/29/2007 | I saw some up before Halloween and I think decorations look cheap and tacky before the Christmas season and make me want to leave that store right now.

 | Graymalkin (51) 11/26/2007 | Sadly, it boils down to the almighty dollar, overly zealous retailers are hoping that overly materialistic consumers will be enticed by the brightly colored lights, ornaments, wrappings, tinsels and garish trimmings and buy an inordinate amount of things they do not need. I predict that in the upcoming years, this seasonal event will begin right after the 4th of July.

 | kamylienne (77) 11/25/2007 | . . . "after?" I saw that stuff about two weeks before Halloween! I wouldn't care that much, but I really like Thanksgiving and I hate to see it get skipped over.
