someone must like that certain food. guess we all have our own tastes. usually at a big meal with lots of relatives I just take what I like and not make a big deal of what I do not like. personally I think it is rude to make a stink and announce how you will not eat a certain food { so no one else can eat it either?}just take what you like for goodness sake and hush up.

When it comes to food at Christmas, there always seems to be a variety to suit everyone's taste.

Are you kidding me? I don't know where you're eating at but I gain an extra ten pounds during the holidays. With all the tamales, hams, turkey, homemade sweets, casseroles, and pot lucks at work. I can't contain myself.

At Halloween, we get candy bars. At Thanksgiving, we get turkey and mashed potatoes. At Easter, we get chocolate bunnies and jelly beans. On the Fourth of July, we get hot dogs and hamburgers. But at Christmas, we're force-fed all manner of grotesque (non)edibles. Think of the fruitcake! Think of the egg nog! If you're very unlucky, think of the mincemeat pies and plum pudding! Ugh!
