05/23/2008 | I bought this on sale at my local supermarket in Tokushima prefecture, and was a little worried about the extremely low price. Those fears were allayed as the the initial smoothness of the malt won me over. It's not quite as round and full as, say, the Hakushuu, but for someone on a budget? fugettaboutit! A solid offering made even sweeter knowing I don't have to pair it with Cup Noodle for the price!

11/29/2007 | Wow for 13 bucks this is pure goodness. Very sweet, orange, pine, and varnish. Gets even sweeter with ice. Mixes very well with cola.(Was drinking it neat in a flask and a friend with a coke asked for some)
