After tasting the Yamazaki 12, I had rather low expectations of the 18, boy was I surprised. Sherry goodness, still oaky and a little earthen, but brown sugar and fruit enveloped my tongue. If I could afford a case I would order one now. The price will prohibit me from drinking this on a regular basis.
