RateItAll: The Opinion Network

I love this restaurant. It's a converted KFC, and the place has an oddly fast food feel about it with its booths and decor still somehow recalling its previous existence. But somehow, it manages to be totally classy and hip.

The food was outstanding. There's stuff like steak stroganoff with gnocchi, and inside out burger (with two burgers surrounding a single bun), and halibut. The beer selection was the most obscure I had ever seen with the only two beers that I had heard of being an obscure Brazilian black beer called Xingu and Duvel. I tried a crazy beer called Duchess de Bourgogne - a sour brown ale that puckered the mouth a little bit (and was delicious), and then Japanese wheat beer called Hitachino which was also phenomenal. I finished up with a "pot brownie" served with Buy Rite ice cream, served with a metal spork. Our waiter was absolutely outstanding.

The place isn't cheap - you should plan on spending about $25 per head with drinks - but all in all, it was the most enjoyable dining experience I've had in a while.
