I remember this one vividly. Hank Gathers was a dominant player - he lead the nation in both scoring and rebounding, and was strong as an ox. For him fall and just die... was just unfathomable. One of the best sports tributes was his long time friend and teammate shooting left handed free throws in the games that followed.
