No real agenda, very limited experience. The Reagan Dems will flee the party again and not vote for him. McCain will blow him out of the water in November.

03/23/2008 | I'm not for him but not really against him either. my problem is like a lot of other people...I don't know anything about him really. I'm not even sure where he stands on things because he is too busy slinging mud with Hillary. I wish they would both just stick to the issues. I do know that I would prefer him and what I don'd know about him over Hillary and what I DO know about her!

02/17/2008 | I'll agree that he seems like a decent guy, great speaker and such...but...as far as his political experience is concerned; I don't think he has what it takes, at his level, to take on a country...especially not ours. Maybe when he's a bit more savvy, bit more experienced, and can answer questions without worrying about his popularity with EVERYONE; he'll be better suited.

News reporters are captivated with him, he enters arenas thru clouds of
smoke, reminiscent of wrestlers at W.W.E events, and we say rednecks
are dumb. Woman at his rallies are fainting, the drama of the EMT's
rushing in to cart them off as Obama looks on in concern, Hollywood
couldn't have done a better job producing this. This is populism at
it's height, and Obama is hoping that his message of ??? will continue to rouse the emotions of the ignorant. Will it win
the day?...It just might.

02/10/2008 | Obama is a media creation, built from hot air bubbles. I had to research for 2 hours to see his stance on major issues such as the "dont ask dont tell" policy, and I still have no answers. He's mum on these issues just to prevent from alienating voters. In terms of being the stereotypical politician, Obama is the best. Even better than Bush or Rove. Listen to any debate. He evades everything and anything on important issues. It's very scary to have a big question mark become president.

02/06/2008 | Brilliant charismatic speaker when reciting a prepared script. Seems like an honest guy regardless if you agree or disagree with him. No experience whatsoever to run the United States. Let's face it, a country like the U.S. is extremely complex and I don't want a political child running it. You don't elect someone president because he is nice...well, I guess some do.

01/07/2008 |  OK. America calm down!...calm down!...calm down everybody. We know how politics runs in the west. We study it, in books and in practical industry. We know the content of this current contention very well. I know American political pundits of Washington to the inner cored content. We know who is qualified for grant nomination. Of course there are many nominees, but we select few to the contention in november. Alright let's see here. Obama has surmounted the greatest challenge. Following the speech yesterday afternoon, suggests that he is legitimately capable of leading his nation. We don't any more want wolves wearing sheep skins. We don't need hypocrisy on the war on terror, and it's negative phrases. We don't need America to leave under illusions, and be blind folded. The status quo is an apparent clear-cut. In New Hampshire, if they don't run with a positive relevant vision of America, there is a potential failure of each every candidate. I want to be a realist here, in this politics. Obama is now a man America has been waiting for. No more survivalism, and no more irrecusable of one man's decision. No more mess up, and confusion in foreign policy deal. We know very well who is the best guy to lead in the USA, and it's someone like Obama. The current administration politics are very naive, and had already counter-blotted out, and we know what is their nature, and we know where they are leading to? They do not reflect the interest of America, and the world at all meanings, instead they are leading to failure, but we need this guy here to reverse them ,and use them efficiently . Bingo!...we caught them..(Washingtonists at the white house now), and we will continue to tackle them with critical thinkerism. Vote OBAMA!!

01/05/2008 | I suppose he could lead the way to not making decisions as he has made very few in his short time in the Senate.
He's an outstanding speaker, there's no doubt about that. He has a way of capturing your attention and listening to him. Unfortunately if you actually pay attention he's one of those dynamic speakers that talks and talks but never actually says anything. He speaks in slogans and bumper stickers but never offers anything but a chicken in every pot type rhetoric. Plus the whole "I have foriegn policy experience because I lived somewhere before I hit puberty" keeps sticking with me. By the way, how is this guy a centrist? Check the voting record. When he has bothered to actually cast a vote, it looks pretty damn liberal to me.
Anyway, when all is said and done, if he gets through without ruining what might have been a great chance to be elected in later years, I guess that will be something.

His supporters are far more passionate than Clinton's (who seem more resigned to Clinton's inevitability than in love with her as a candidate), and we shouldn't underestimate the impact of having Oprah endorsing his campaign. While Hillary comes off as opportunistic and mean, Obama seems to genuinely inspire people. Whether this is enough to overcome his lack of experience to bring home the Democratic nomination remains to be seen.
I believe that the winner of the Democratic nomination will (deservedly) be our next President. After the spending, and torture, and incompetence, and war, and corruption of the current administration, my sense is that a functioning democracy such as ours will decide to give the other party a chance.
