I think its pretty cool to see the largest man made lake but I might be a dork. There is a lot to do at the recreational area so if you need a break from Vegas take a short drive and get into the outdoors. I went kayaking in the area and it was fantastic. Nevada is a beautiful state so don't spend all your time on the Strip looking at lights!
