Even though GP was older when he joined the Lakers and the team ran a triangle offense, which wasn't suited to his offensive talents, I thought this was a great pick up for the Lakers...however he simply didn't fit into the Triangle Offense and Phil Jackson didn't like playing him and often went to Derek Fisher during crucial situations...had horrible NBA Finals series against Detroit Pistons
