Another Laker power forward acquired past prime...almost signed with Lakers before 1994-95 season but signed with Orlando Magic instead...came to Lakers in big-three team deal where Glen Rice went to deal....however was still produtive and effective starter in 2000-01 season but then came alive in playoffs...signed with Orlando Magic after season...returned to Lakers for 2003-04 season...was lost for season after suffering hip injury in second half of season...although not player he once was, his injury hurt Lakers as team could've used him in 2004 finals with Detroit Pistons after Karl Malone also went down with injury, leaving Lakers with only Slava Medevenko and Brian Cook to play power forward and back-up center
